Lives & works in South West England
Sidnay is a photographic artist and experimental filmmaker, who specialises in analogue techniques and is passionate about making tangible objects. Fascinated with the materiality of the photograph and film as object, the work does not have the desired effect when viewed on a computer screen, due to the authenticity and individuality of each piece of work.
Sidnay has recently found an interest of appropriating found images to create new stories, using photographs and moving image. This has led to an experimental approach to Sidnay’s practice, allowing access into a world of unique and handcrafted imagery.
